So many memories of our days at Assiniboine. He made me laugh, think, and I had the utmost respect for him. Such a smart, funny, caring man! He came to visit me at the Grace as a patient and I will never forget that, so genuinely concerned for my well being. I was one of your daisies and honoured that title. May you Rest In Peace! My sincere condolences to Elaine and his children Leesa Gilmore - Posted by: Leesa Gilmore (Work) on: Mar 02, 2021

A great loss - Dr Banerjee was larger than life. I spent many a happy weekend with him, my good friend Nilakshi (his daughter) and the rest of the family during high school. Their home was always open to me. He was always talking about new things, books and tennis and food. I’m not sure he understood our teenage obsessions with 80s music, movies, and concerts, but he always showed great tolerance. My condolences to all of the family from my family. - Posted by: Ning (Family friend) on: Feb 23, 2021

I'm so sorry for your loss Elaine. I have many memories of "himself" considering that he called me "Daisy" and his "Zombie". The memory of the first time I met Dr. B is a vivid today as though 32 years haven't passed. I had so much respect for him and thought about him often. I loved his visits to the clinic and looked forward to trading insults along with lots of laughs. I'm certain that many "Daisies" and "Freds" are smiling and laughing as they share their individual memories. Take care of yourself. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Sandy Bamforth (work) on: Feb 18, 2021
