DORIS MABEL TRICK
September 19, 1922 – February 9, 2021
Born in Crookham, Hants, England, daughter of the late Frank and Rowena Bensley, Mom was one of nine children, and is survived by sisters, Hilda and Kate in England. In October, 1946 Mom came to Canada as a war bride to join her husband William Henry Trick (2008). They lived their married life in Ottawa, Ontario.
Mom is survived by her children, Vivian (Richard), Pinawa, Manitoba, David (Ann), Rideau Ferry, Ontario, Keith (Joanne), Almonte, Ontario, Allen (Leith), Nepean, Ontario and by 14 grandchildren: Clem, (D'Arcy), Cam (Mona), Bruce (Karen), Ian (Jennifer), Blake (Heidi), Shelley (Bill), Jennifer (Stefan), Andy (Stephanie), Nancy (Andrew), Jim (Julia), Shannon (Emir), Amy, Jason, Jaime (David), 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family wish to thank the wonderful staff at Carleton Lodge, Ottawa, where she lived for the last six years. She will be forever in our memories.
