Our deepest sympathy to Jack Denischuk and family in the loss of Eleanor, who was our dear sister, and loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Eleanor was predeceased by her grandparents, Rose and Joseph Frank and parents, Agnes and Robert Frank and sister-in-law, Susan Frank. She was the eldest of five children. She was raised on the Frank family farm in West St. Paul, MB and is survived by her three brothers, Dave (Beth) Frank of Kelowna, BC, Ron Frank, Ken (Debbie) Frank, and sister, Doreen (Garth) Skinner in Winnipeg, MB as well as nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and Calgary and Vernon. Eleanor graduated from St. Mary's Academy with high marks and always said it was the "best education she ever received." As a result, she held good career positions throughout her employment years. She had a great singing voice and was often selected to sing at funeral services, which she says got her out of classes on Friday afternoons. Eleanor was a devoted sister and friend. We talked daily and there wasn't anything she or I wouldn't do for each other. She was a good cook and hosted many family gatherings at her home in Charleswood and in St. James. As she became more disabled, she welcomed and appreciated my assistance and enjoyed my home cooked meals for herself and Jack. They always looked forward to attending our family gatherings at our trailer campsites each summer. Eleanor would always bring her famous potato salad for all of us to enjoy with no leftovers. Eleanor had many friends. She and her girlfriends usually met on Friday nights to play bingo at the local community clubs in Charleswood and later in St. James. Eleanor had great numeracy skills and was often lucky at keno and bingo. I hope she is playing bingo somewhere, looking down, laughing and saying, "Guess what, I won again". Her husband, Jack, was the love of her life, as were her children, Rose-Ann (Bill) and Russell (Gidget) and grandchildren, Delaney, Aaron and Alexxa. Eleanor will always remain in our hearts and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Doreen and Garth Skinner, Sister and Brother-In-Law, Winnipeg, MB - Posted by: Doreen L. My sincerest condolences to Aunt Eleanor's family. What a terrible time to be in the hospital and you can't have visitors. It is comforting to know that she went on her own terms without being infected with Coronavirus. - Posted by: Charlotte (Niece) on: Feb 13, 2021
