FRANCES PAMULA
January 13, 1927 - February 8, 2021
She was predeceased by her husband John Pamula in 2006 and is survived by her children; Allan (Laurie), Casey (Sue), Gwen (Dan), and John (Lisa-Marie) and grandchildren; Fran (Rory), Luke, Jasmine, Tessa (Zach), Cole, Cassie, Dillon and Margo.
Frances was born at home on January 13, 1927 on her parents farm near Tolstoi, MB. She married in 1950 and farmed in Overstoneville, MB until the late 1970s. Already before moving to Emerson, MB, she enjoyed many years of working as a Nurse's Aide in the Emerson Hospital and then volunteered even more when it became the Emerson Care Home.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a funeral will not be held at this time.
Thank-you from the bottom of our hearts to all of the staff at the Altona Hospital for taking such good care of our Mom during the last days of her life.
A big thank-you also to Trevor Groening at the Wiebe Funeral Home for taking care of the arrangements via long distance. Their "Kindness and Courtesy" motto was held up all the way. We so greatly appreciated this Trevor.
Our Mom loved animals. Please be kind to them in her memory and adopt them when you can. She also loved flowers. Plant some in the Springtime to add lots of colour to our communities. She would have loved that.
May God keep all of you safe and out of harm's way as we battle this horrible pandemic.

Alan, Gwen, Casey and Johnny.. Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of a beautiful soul. I have so many fond memories of Franny and she was my adopted second mother. The past year we had the opportunity to spend time together when I took her to a few appointments she had. Covid made it miserable as I missed seeing her in church mostly every Sunday. We were able to get a nice visit in a few times. I will miss her greatly however she does deserve to RIP. Sending all of you lots of love and hugs 🤗🤗💕 - Posted by: Janice Perreault (Close friend) on: Feb 23, 2021

Allan , Casey , Gwen , John & families , I was saddened to learn of your mother's passing . Recognizing that Covid & the restrictions caused you even more duress ! Many pleasant memories of growing up in the area & attending our one room country school together . Also seeing your mom & dad from time to time in Emerson , while visiting with my own mom & dad . May your faith & pleasant memories help to sustain at this difficult time . She may be gone from your presence , but she lives on in your hearts ! Audrey (Arseny) Burgess . So sorry to hear that your mom has passed away. Living so close to each other as neighbours on the farm brings back many memories of growing up. I especially remember your mom's radiant smile. May France's rest in peace. Florence and Orest - Posted by: Florence and Orest Kosowan (Cousin and friend) on: Feb 18, 2021
