I only knew him for 64 years and I loved him for most of them. We had our bad times as every family does. We had times where I would have to do his chores and he would go chasing girls. Then he got married had his boys and was the proudest dad. He didn't always like what the boys did, but he stood by them. He so liked the lake time that he had with family and friends, and lived for his fishing trip with all his buddies. Bro., you will be missed by everyone and will meet you in a better place. your little Brother. - Posted by: S Hunter (Brother) on: Jul 24, 2022

Over the past 4-5 years Gerry has brought smiles and laughter to my then Dawns life. Wonderful zest for life. Always happy. He was so happy for Dawn and I when we met, and of course he was at our wedding. Everyone that met Gerry had the same opinion.. "What a great guy, so happy and quick with a joke, and smart ass comment" Dawn and I miss our Saturday afternoon happy hours Gerry, and I miss the 2-3 happy hours during the week. Dawn and I would like to pass on our deepest condolences to his family. Jamie and Terry ...rest assured your Dad is and will be missed tremendously. I can honestly say..."the world is is not as good a place with Gerry not in it" With love and sadness Dawn and I say "good bye, and God take you and bless you Gerry" Love Dawn and Robin Hazlett.. - Posted by: Robin and Dawn Hazlett (best buds forever. Cheers one last time Gerry) on: Feb 21, 2021
