Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
I am so sorry to hear of June and Fran's passing. i had the pleasure of cutting their hair for many years. We had many great conversations and many laughs over the years. Heaven saved a special place for both these lovely ladies! My deepest condolences to all the family. - Posted by: Mary-Anne Buffie (Hairstylist and Friend) on: Mar 01, 2021
Ah June. Heaven will be a happier place because of the additions of June Bates and Fran Rowlin (Dec. 14/2020). They were inseparable pals in life and now will be together again in the hereafter. I worked with June (and Fran) at the U. of M. Between 1976 and 1987. During that time, June became my assistant. She was a pleasure to work with and to know. A naturally gracious lady whose wit and wisdom were her hallmark, along with her kindness and acceptance of others. I loved her laugh. I went to St. Margaret's a few times to see them both and was always impressed by their commitment to their faith and how it was reflected in their actions. So long Fran and now June. You are not forgotten. May they rest in peace, and may their memory be a blessing. - Posted by: Martin Robson (Co-worker) on: Feb 20, 2021
