Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • My prayers and thoughts are with the whole family I knew Ruth as a demo lady at costco. She always had a big smile on her face and a wit about her like no one else. I will miss you my friend, rest in peace. - Posted by: Cathy weremy (Friend) on: Mar 01, 2021

  • I would like to express my deepest condolences to Ruth’s big beautiful family and her many friends. This is a sad time for all and I know she will be missed dearly. I grew up on Ottawa Ave. and it was way back in 1964/65 that I recall meeting the Mcleods. I became close friends with Trish(Patty) & Sandy and lil Vinny. Ruth was like my 2nd mom. Back in ‘the day’ it took a village to look after all the many kids on our street or on back lane playing and Ruth was one of them. Ruth & Fred were very close friends with my folks. On weekends, they played many card games as us kids would run back and forth from house to house. Patty and I are STILL very close after 56 years of friendship. Ruth has and will always been someone I’ve looked up to all my life. She was a strong, intelligent, very independent, responsible and most caring ‘LADY’. Fashionable and beautiful. I will most definitely our chats. She has guided me along the way after my mom passed. Always asking questions with concern for my future, or about my family and providing me with some advise and wisdom. Needless to say, Ruth will be very missed. ‘Hey Lady, I want you to know that my heart feels warm and cuddly and I have a smile on my face when I think of you with your beautiful smirky grin. Give Sandy a big hug & kiss from me.” Xoxo janet - Posted by: janet jensen (friend) on: Feb 25, 2021

  • So sorry to hear this Vince. Even when we know a loved one's time has come to an end, it's still hard to say GoodBye. Hugs. - Posted by: Marlene Szarka (Friend & co worker of Vince) on: Feb 20, 2021
