VIRGILIO (GIL) MAGSAJO
April 30, 1954 - February 19, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Virgilio (Gil) Magsajo on February 19, 2021 at the age of 66, after a long battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by the love of his life Rosa, son Michael Vincent (Ashley), daughter Valerie Rose; in the Philippines, his mother Priscilla and his brother and sisters.
He was an amazing husband, father, brother, and a friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all his loved ones.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Dawe from CancerCare Manitoba and the staff at Riverview Health Centre for taking care of Virgilio during his tough battle.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, the family will celebrate his life privately with immediate family and friends.

Life is a journey, and along the path we stumble and fall, that give reason not to continue..as the long trip suddenly ends. With extreme sadness, cousin Gil won’t be joining us now when the Lord called on him to grant him peace & final rest in Heaven. Our happy memories of Gil will linger and stay in our hearts as we move on with our own journey, as God leads the way. Thanks Gil for all your love of family, sacrifice, dedication, commitment, and generosity, as you had inspired us all through the years that you were with us on earth. You will be missed, but we know that God loves you and will take care of you in that better place where you are now.
