TERESA LYNN (TERRY) REDMOND

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Terry Redmond on November 29, 2020, at the age of 60.
Terry was born and raised in Winnipeg. She spent most of her working years at Jostens, working her way up to supervisor.
She was predeceased by her husband Lionel in 2012 and her father Steve in 1996. Left to cherish her memory is her mother Marilyn (Bernie), mother-in-law Evelyn, siblings, Kim, Larry (Sandy), Rhonda (Marc) and the rest of her family and friends. Terry had many good longtime friends that were always there for her. Her friend Ev was like a sister to her. The family is forever grateful to her friend Mike for all his help during this difficult time.
Terry was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a believer that if you didn't have the money, you didn't buy it. Although she lived modestly, she loved good champagne and diamonds, that better be real! She was an excellent cook (known for her homemade meatballs and gravy, banana bread and cream of mushroom soup). Terry enjoyed gardening and loved all animals, especially the many cats and dogs she had throughout the years. She loved walking her dogs at Little Mountain Park, where a bench will be placed in her memory.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held with family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Terry may be made to the animal rescue of your choice.

Rest in peace Terry,
we love and miss you so much

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I like to think that Terry and I are cousins. We are not related by blood, my mother and hers have been best friends all their lives. My condolences to Marilyn (Bernie) it is hard to lose a child. Evelyn, Lionel was the love of her life and now she is with him heart and soul. My fondest memories of childhood is playing Barbie’s with Terry and attempting to hide them from Larry so he wouldn’t rip their heads off. Kim, you set her and I straight, when we both thought the MONKEYs were a real band. Rhonda, I can remember when you were learning to walk; we couldn’t wait for you to run so we could play with you. Terry we will all miss your integrity, humor and love of animals. See you on the other side COUSIN. - Posted by: Sandie (friend/cousin) on: Mar 01, 2021

  • I met Terry when I worked at Josten's in the 80's and 90's. So sorry to hear of her passing. Terry was a wonderful person and so much fun. She would give you the shirt off her back. Terry and Lionel were so good to me at one of the worst times in my life. I will never forget nor could I ever repay the kindness. Her friendship meant so much. Rest in peace Terry. - Posted by: Tina Scowen (Friend) on: Feb 27, 2021
