GREGORY
DALE MILLER
We have learned it is
the little things,
cutting onions,
talking cars, doing
the crossword over
the phone together,
sharing birthdays
with your oldest
granddaughter,
calling your grandson
ACE and being in awe
of the others art.
It is the big things,
walking me down the
aisle , telling you that
you're going to be a
Grampa, supporting
my family through
our health scares.
It is the hard things,
swallowing your
cancer diagnosis
together, family
relationships and
heart breaks, the
"I miss you Dad,"
and never
saying goodbye.
But mostly it's the
way you held my face
with your hands and
kissed my forehead
and said, "I love you."
Our world fell apart
when we lost you one
year ago today and
then, the world
started falling apart.
We are waiting for
the day to gather
and celebrate you.
For now, a note
from our hearts.
You will always be
remembered with
so much love, Dad.
Sharon and Mark,
Karleigh, Matthew
and Noah.

I can't believe a year has gone by since we lost Dale. We had about 5 good years where we bonded with Dale and Ed at the Army and Navy. Every Friday we met at the Legion and had our pool games, we never missed, rain, shine or blizzards. Such happy memories. - Posted by: Bob and Bernice Cardinal (Friend) on: Mar 09, 2021
