MATHEW RYAN CORRIGAL
May 12, 1983 - March 11, 2020
In loving memory of our son

I cried as I held you and kissed your nose when you came into this world, and I cried as I held you and kissed your nose when you left for Valhalla.
You once told me you feared the unknown, leaving your young children with so much
uncertainty or having the ability to watch them grow and protect them. We shared so much, more then most even knew, there were great moments, hard ones and yes
regrets, however in the end we were always there for each other.
Your pain is now over physically and
emotionally. Cancer does not consume your life or the unnecessary pain your suffered in the last year here on earth. You are an
amazing artist, poet. Your ability to discuss Edger Poe or Inferno by Dante surprised and at times confused some. Your love for diving off cliffs into the ocean or driving the old truck over hills into the sky while waving, which caused me a few greys, but I would not change a thing, not one.
I am grateful that we had our moments and family moments with those who truly loved you during your final days, the best was the last Yule and Christmas we all spent together as a true and real loving family with friends. Our joy, songs and laughter rang into the sky. I was so overjoyed to hear you laugh like a child for hours, it had been years since I heard your soul. We were blessed and those memories we will cherish them.
I miss your comical expressions, your banter and your word of the day. I miss your heart but most of all I miss my first born son. Ride free with your father William Robert Corrigal (Crazy Willie), until we are together again.

Always loved and never forgotten by us.
Love Mom, Doug O., Doug Z.,
brothers, Devon and Tanner,
daughter Willow, son Thorin, Uncle Kevin, Gramma Rena and Grandpa Rene
