Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Shirley, I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Bob in 1992 when I started with Loney’s Golf Shop. And quite literally, he became my favourite part of working there. His visits to the store, that often lasted 2 plus hours gave us a chance to talk golf, and talk life. Bob was never shy to talk about the good and the bad of his life, inviting me to do the same. I can’t begin to tell you what those conversations meant to me. Bob and I had a chance to golf together many many times and I never stopped being jealous of that silky swing. Having an opportunity to speak to Bob a few months ago was an absolute gift to me. One I will treasure. Miss you Bob. God Speed. - Posted by: Jonathan Middlestead (Friend ) on: Mar 24, 2021

  • Shirley (Aunt), Darren just gave us the news of Bob passing away. We are sorry to hear of his having to go through his battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Mel and I have appreciated your tirelessly sending him cards from you and Bob over the years. It was always "With love, Bob & Shirley". You both have been so good to your brother over the years and it will not be the same to get your cards without Bob's name in them. All our best in the coming days as you grieve the loss of your beloved husband. Thank you for all the good memories you and Bob shared with us over the years.
