TERESA MORRISON
Teresa, born on October 6, 1936 in Dubno, Poland, and was the eldest of three children. Teresa grew up in Jelenia Gora, Poland, however set her eyes on a life in North America. In 1960 she boarded the Stefan Batory ship bound for Riverhead, NY with the intent of building a life there, however was drawn to Winnipeg by its bustling Polish community. Once established in Winnipeg, Teresa helped many family members immigrate to Canada.
Teresa was known for her indomitable spirit, infectious enthusiasm for life, and her unwavering love for family. She instilled her love of adventure and zest for life in her nieces, who she loved as her own.
Teresa is cherished and mourned by her sister Grace (Walter), brother Jurek (Maryla); nieces, Anna (Jamie), and Monika (John); nephew Rafal (Agnieszka), and her many great-nieces and nephews.
Due to covid19 restrictions a private service will be held for immediate family. An interment will take place at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
