It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Rose Marie, with family by her side, at Riverview Health Centre March 12, 2021.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles and son Darryl.
Mom will be greatly missed by her son Glenn (Joanne), daughter Charlene (Frank) and daughter-in-law Laura (Gerry), her grandchildren, Stephane, Patrick, Jim (Jamie), Kyle (Alix), Francesca (Nathan), Justin (Grace), Cassandra (Joe), and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Benjamin, Quinn, Landon, Darryl and Thomas. She will also be missed by her sisters, Lucille (Jules), Huguette (Ron), Jeannette (Lyle), her brothers, Roland (Carol), Hubert (Georgette-deceased), and many extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by brothers, Gerard and Reynald.
Rose Marie and Charlie married November 25, 1954 and raised their three children on the family farm in Dufresne, Manitoba.
There were many good years of hard work, good friends, family visits and time spent at Caddy Lake and travelling.
They moved to Winnipeg in 1987 where Rose Marie enjoyed gardening, time with her family, visits with her sisters and of course shopping.
In her last weeks she would often say, "I've had a good life."

Mom, Grandma rest in peace.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I just heard about Rose's passing today and it saddens me deeply. I ran into her a couple years ago and promised that I would go visit her with my 2 sisters Mona and Dina which, unfortunately never happened. She was such a beautiful stylish lady that would get everyone's attention when she was around! I have nothing but beautiful memories of her. My deepest condolences to the entire family Glen, Joanne, Charlene, Jeanette and Lyle and forgive me for anyone else that I have forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Hugs to each one of you! Louise Trudeau (Perrin) - Posted by: Louise Trudeau (Family friend) on: Mar 25, 2021

  • Our condolences to your entire family. It was nice she said she had a good life, and that she was able to travel, garden and spend time at the lake. However it must be difficult to go through this period of mourning without the appropriate, traditional 'send off'. We are living in unfortunate times. Take care of yourselves. Bob and Yvonne, and Michelle, Raquel and Danielle. - Posted by: Bob, & Yvonne Baert (Bob is a first cousin of her husband Charlie (deceased) ) on: Mar 22, 2021
