  • To the entire Pauls family, I'm so very sorry for your loss. "Papa Pauls" was a wonderful man whose chats and humor I always enjoyed. By far, one of my favorites. <3 - Posted by: Dana from Taylor (friend) on: Jun 17, 2021

  • Today we were sad to read about the recent passing of Dr Ferd Pauls. We wish to express our deepest sympathy to Ruth and the entire Pauls family. I met Ruth and her husband Dr Pauls at Portage Mennonite Brethren Church. Ruth became a dear friend to our family. We remember Dr Pauls as a kind and humble man who unselfishly reached out to help others. We know he’ll be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ruth, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. With love, Elizabeth and Christopher (Besch) and Family - Posted by: Elizabeth and Christopher Besch (Friends) on: Apr 12, 2021

  • I would offer heartfelt condolences to Mrs Pauls and the family on the passing of De Ferd. I was privileged to work with Dr Paul’s at Grace Hospital for several years. He was very dedicated to our patients and a valued member of the medical staff. - Posted by: Major John McFarlane (Colleague) on: Mar 26, 2021

  • We have known Ferd & Ruth since before their marriage. John worked at Ruth's Dad's store as delivery boy while they were dating. We wrote letters while they were in Zaire. In 1985 we were blessed to work with them at Kajiji, Zaire. We are friends at Portage Ave. Church and will always cherish Ferd's subtle (or not so subtle) sense of humor. - Posted by: John & Shirley Bergen (friend from Portage Ave. Church) on: Mar 26, 2021

  • I worked with Dr. Pauls at Women's Pavilion and Seven Oaks General Hospital across 25 years. He had a very reassuring manner when speaking to his patients and always was respectful towards the staff. He was the obs/gyne doc on call when I needed one and I was very relieved to know that he was there for me. I offer my condolences to the Pauls family for their loss. - Posted by: JANIE MARSHALL (I worked with Dr. Pauls at Women's Pavilion and & Seven Oaks General Hospital.) on: Mar 25, 2021
