RODERICK DHU MUNRO
He was predeceased by his mother Dorothy, his father Lewis and brother Hugh Munro.
Rody left behind his three sons, Kevin (Darlene), Douglas (Tracy) and Chad (Amanda), and his five grandchildren, Randy, James, Grace, Riley and Mark. He is also survived by his siblings, Sandra Ottenbreit and Ian Munro and their families, his niece Colleen Munro and his sons' mother Sandy Munro.
Rody was a kind, generous hard-working man who could strike up a conversation with a stranger and would always help those in need if he could. He loved animals of all kinds and was always happiest with a dog or cat underfoot. His spirit although diminished at the end of his life will always be remembered and cherished.
Rody will be laid to rest at the Clandeboye United Church Cemetery in Clandeboye, Manitoba.
The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Golden Links Lodge where Rody spent the last three years of his life for their warm, kind, and respectful care.
Should friends wish to remember Rody, please send donations to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba to help fight against this terrible disease.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and Celebration of Life will take place at a future date.

I remember Roddy from his younger days when his Mom, Dorothy Munro taught Grades 1 to 8 in the Sand Hill School west of the village of Ladywood. As the school and teacherage where they lived was right across the road from our home and farmyard, my Mother and Dorothy shared a friendship throughout those years. Roddy was always a pleasant and polite young man. Condolences to Sandra and Ian on the loss of their brother. Sincere condolences also to Colleen, Roddy’s children and immediate family. Rest In Peace, Roddy. - Posted by: Kathy Krawchuk Fecio (Neighbour from long ago) on: Mar 27, 2021
