MARY MARGARET WOODWARD
Mary was born on July 5, 1930 in Okotoks, AB. She will be remembered for her sense of humour and determination in life.
Mary is survived by her sister Beverley J. Smith of Calgary; her niece Wendy Roberts of Memramcook; and sister-in-law June Woodward of Winnipeg.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles "Charlie" F. Woodward.
Mary retired as a Supervisor with Trans Alta Utilities where she worked at since she was 18. She was a member of the Canadian Kennel Club, past Secretary Treasurer of the Alberta Kennel Club, attended numerous dog shows and bred multiple champion dogs. Dogs were her and Charlie's passion, they bred, showed and travelled all over the world doing shows. She was a member of the Trans Alta Retirees Association and enjoyed travelling with her husband.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a funeral service will be held in Alberta at a later date. Mary will be laid to rest with her husband, Charlie, in Queen's Park Cemetery, Alberta.
Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation.
