Ross will also be missed by the many friends he made from his years spent at his parent's cottage at Bird River and more recently the cottage with Heather at Grand Marais.

I was shocked to hear about Ross, I did a lot of Canoeing with him, There were usually 4 of us we would do trip every year we would pick a river in Northern Manitoba and we did that for almost 20 years. Ross certainly added to those trips fishing shooting rapids and sitting around the camp fire telling some lies. Thanks for adding to those good memories Ross. Hopefully we can do a trip one of these days in the here after. My condolences to his family and friends, One of my favorite passages in the Bible is "To be Absent from the body is to be with the Lord". Ross is in good hands. God Bless. - Posted by: Ken Barnett (Friends) on: Mar 28, 2021

It is so sad when a member of our Bison family leaves us. Ross and I worked very closely together as part of the support staff for the Bisons Men's basketball team. We were also "lakemates" at Bird River. Such a gentle man with a huge heart. I am a better person for having known Ross. My deepest sympathy to the family. Enjoy the next part of your journey Ross. - Posted by: Glen Bergeron (Bison Family) on: Mar 27, 2021
