ELIZABETH NEUFELD
She was predeceased by her husband Dave. They were married for 54 years.
She is survived by a son, daughter, and sister Erna (Ernie) Kornelsen.
In better days, Elizabeth enjoyed nothing more than visiting with relatives and friends. She appreciated the fresh lilies her children would bring her from their flower gardens.
In her earlier years, she enjoyed gardening and baking.
Early in their marriage, Elizabeth would join Dave on her National lap steel guitar while he played the violin, entertaining and enthralling their guests.
A private burial took place at Randolph Cemetery.
For those who desire, please plant a tree to honour her memory.

I remember Taunte Betty as a vivacious person: always ready to laugh and a lively conversationalist. The last time I saw her was several years ago, when she and Uncle Dave stopped in to visit Mom and Dad and I happened to be there visiting them too. It was great seeing her. I remember babysitting for them when Peggy was still a baby. And I will always remember the excitement I felt as a youngster when Uncle Dave and Taunte Betty would show up with the fiddle and guitar and turn an ordinary Saturday into an extraordinary house party. They truly made beautiful music together. And my parents and other visitors would sing along or dance or simply sit back and enjoy the music. These will always be among the happiest memories of my childhood. I am sad to hear she passed away. To Kevin and Peggy, all I can say is I'm deeply sorry for your loss. And will remember you both in my prayers. - Posted by: Bev (Neufeld) Petry (Niece) on: Apr 10, 2021
