Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • We were sorry to hear of Marvin's passing. Fran and I have many fond memories of our times with Marvin and Anne both at Magic Valley in Texas and in Winnipeg. Our thought and prayers are with Anne and the rest of the family. Rest in peace, Marvin. Love Fran and Lionel Moore - Posted by: Fran & Lionel Moore (Friend) on: Apr 13, 2021

  • I remember Mr. Gordon as an easy going man with a kind heart who was passionate about his craft. Churchill had some talented students and he would take notice and help those who really wanted it. Looking back, it’s amazing how he could put up with some of us. We drove him to the brink. He could bring down the hammer though, to his credit. RIP Mr. Gordon; and thank you. - Posted by: Lenny Graceffo (Student) on: Apr 10, 2021

  • Mr, Gordon was my art teacher at Churchill High, and I remember he had a great deal of patience with us students. When some of us gather at different times, he is always remembered and spoken of fondly. We all seem to have stories of his classes, usually how we would terrorize the poor man, when he was only trying to broaden our horizons. Looking back, he was one of the good ones. The world needs more of teachers like him. Condolences to family & friends. Doug Lyons, class of 76. - Posted by: Doug Lyons (Student) on: Apr 09, 2021

  • Mr. Gordon was my art teacher. He tried really hard to bring out my creative side. It never ended up surfacing. Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Cindy Reid Moodie (Student) on: Apr 08, 2021
