ANNA MARIA LAVALLEE

On March 30, 2021, Anna LaVallee (Gerij), loving wife and mother of three children, and two grandchildren, passed away at the young age of 60 years old in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Anna was born on September 27, 1960 in Thunder Bay, Ontario to Rosa and Michael Gerij. In July 2004, she married John LaVallee whom she happily spent the rest of her days with. Anna will forever be remembered by her husband; her children, Raymond (Charissa), Melissa (Joshua), Nathan, Zane (Annie); her grandchildren, Michael, Isabelle, Cassandra, Maxx; and her sisters, Linda and Maria.
Anna's greatest joy in life was always making sure that the ones around her were safe and well taken care of, she was always there to offer help to anyone who needed it. A kind, compassionate and curious listener, with whom even strangers would share their personal stories. She was always available to lend comfort to those who needed it.
Anna loved to laugh, a joyous cackle that could light up a room, her smile and laugh will be kept in our memories and hearts forever.
Some of Anna's hobbies included puzzles, crocheting, listening and dancing to music, teasing her husband, gardening and her favourite - watching and laughing at comedy shows. She was a woman of great strength, unique hobbies, laughs and unconditional love for her family (fur babies included).
A celebration of Anna's life will be held between close family and friends at a later date.
