(ROBERT) ROSS KENNEDY
1931 - 2021

It is with profound heartfelt sadness that we announce the loss of the very best Husband and Dad on April 1, 2021.
Ross leaves to mourn his wife of 68 years, Evelyn (Lipp) and only daughter Laura Gobert. His family was the most important thing in his life.
Hotel business which was also his hobby was next and he loved cars. Ross was an honest successful business man. He was in the hotel industry in Manitoba for over 50 years. He enjoyed his time buying and selling many properties and meeting many great people over the years. He sold his last hotel in 2018 and enjoyed retirement for a few years.

I will miss you and never stop loving you.
All my love Evelyn.

He was the best Dad and it was a privilege and honour to call him that. Together we shared our white hair, our love of chocolate, and football, being season ticket holders for many years. He was an especially kind and gentle man who was proud of his family and his accomplishments. He will be deeply missed and remembered fondly by many who knew him.

Have a good sleep now Dad,
I love you and miss you terribly already.

We wish to thank many of the truly wonderful people we met along the way this past while, especially the home care nurses who helped out. Special thanks goes to two of his favourites: Joel and Donna for all their kindness and concern over the past months.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to the Lung Association or Heart and Stroke or CancerCare Manitoba are the choices my Husband and my Dad requested.

  • A wonderful man and a great human being. He gave me the opportunity in the hotel business and taught me so much. We had many a laugh & a few adventures.
