• Tom and Family -- and Lynn; So sorry that I have only now found Fran's obituary. Wonderful memories of our years at the lake cruising up and down Gimli Road -- always trying to look cool! Except for Fran and Lynn == always just everybody's friend. After more than 50 years -- still very vivid memories. That group still stands out as some of the nicest people I have ever met. • The Van Der Veken family sends their condolences to the Halas and Carberry families. We were long time neighbours at our cottages in the Village of Dunnottar. Frannie was a beach friend and playmate in her youth! Prayers and thoughts go out to you. I often think about you and Fran, when I drive by the the buildings by the river where you guys use to canoe on Main Street just north of Selkirk, I think it was a school at one time.
