It is with deep sadness we would like to announce the peaceful passing of Kim on Sunday, April 4, 2021, at the age of 63 years.
Lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years, Ken, daughter Meaghan (Steven), son Rodney (Kelly), daughter Bernie and father Alfred. Also mourning her loss are her grandchildren, Isabella, Aiden, Neilan, Juno, Kianna, and Erika; brother Terry (Eleanor), brother-in-law Keith (Arlene), numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Shirley Fillion.
Kim was born in Winnipeg, MB, where she lived until 1981 when she married Ken and they moved to Portage la Prairie. She started working at the Manitoba Developmental Centre in 1981 until her retirement in 2020 after 39 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going out for lunches with her friends from work.
Due to Covid a private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kim's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Boulevard Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5 or to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, Critical Care Unit Fund, C1026-409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.

A tree will be planted in memory and cared
for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.
