I am so sad to read of Carol's passing. We met in the early 70s when we were both working in Dauphin, me for Information Canada, and she with Mincom Manitoba. Over the years we would get together to catch up with how our lives were going. She enjoyed good laughs at some of the reminiscences of our younger days' pranks, good wine and our German and Chilean food. We always remembered her brother Brent who died way too young, his widow and daughter. We got together again shortly after she retired, and then lost touch this last while. Carol was a very open person, caring and loving people, and she will be missed a lot. - Posted by: Monika Feist (friend) on: Apr 14, 2021

I was privileged to work with and learn from Carol. If you watched Carol you would learn; advocacy, patience, compassion, loyalty and the belief that all people are good. I’m grateful for that opportunity. Rest In Peace Carol ❤️, I will think of you whenever I eat vinetarta or fruitcake. - Posted by: Diana Rozos (Colleague ) on: Apr 13, 2021

Carol was a very generous, respectful, gentle, kind, and caring soul. As a colleague, whom she supervised, she always gave the utmost respect, trust, support, and encouragement with inspiring positive regard. She was a truly gifted person that I feel privileged to have known and to have shared 23 years of employment with. Thank you Carol. - Posted by: Camille Giesbrecht (Colleague) on: Apr 12, 2021
