THERESE NYRIO (GAUDET)
Date of Passing: Apr 10, 2021Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory
Terry is survived by her husband Ernest; her three children, Rick (Elaine), Dave (Barb), Lisa (Tim); her ten grandchildren, Crystal, Brendan, Reanna, Ryan, Samantha, Damon, Abby, Aimy, Adam and Aric; her seven great-grandchildren; sister Sue (Bob) and brother Ed, and many nieces and nephews.
Mom grew up in Bellsite, MB and moved to Winnipeg where she met her husband of 60 years. She spent 42 years of her work life dedicated to the care of children and adults at St. Amant, where she also developed many close relationships. Mom loved her family and especially enjoyed entertaining at the cottage where she would cook Hungarian dishes passed down from her mother-in-law Rose (Nuge Mama), who lived with our family when we were young. Mom was also particularly proud of the cottage's beautiful flower and vegetable gardens that she and Dad lovingly tended to. She will be missed but her memory will survive in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Amant Foundation.

Condolences & Memories (7 entries)
Condolences, Dave, Barb and family. Your mom was an incredible lady. I enjoyed many afternoons talking with her when we worked together on 1 East. She was caring, thoughtful and so very funny! She loved talking about her time spent at the cottage and sharing stories of when Gram Lived with you. Remember the good times and how much she loved her family. - Posted by: Deborah Bonser (Past co- worker) on: Apr 21, 2021

My condolences to you and your family, Dave. I remember working with your mom during high school and for a short while afterwards. She always cared deeply for the people supported by St Amant. I am glad that I have connected with you since I have been volunteering. It has been good to catch up on your mom over the last few years. I am sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Louise (Fedak) Dahle (Former co-worker of Terry’s, current St Amant volunteer) on: Apr 17, 2021
