DONALD PETER WHIKLO
August 30, 1944 - April 6, 2021
He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary; brother Robert, sister Dorothy and niece Cheryl. He leaves to mourn sister Pat (Sandy) in BC, brother John and sister Joan DeJong, nephew Harry and niece Kathy (Barry Ojala) and family.
His grand fishing buddies who have been meeting every summer for the past 50 years.
Cremation has taken place. Interment to be in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
Our many thanks to our sister-in-law Heather Whiklo and family for helping with arrangements.

My condolences to Ken's family. Ken was a gifted athlete in high school. While in grade 11, he played on the 1965 St. John's high school volleyball team and the team won the city championship that year. The team was invited to play in the Provincials with all the best teams in the province. They advanced and lost in the semi-finals. A great season for the team.
