AMBROISE REMILLARD
January 31, 1930 - April 9, 2021
He is survived by his wife Thérèse (nee Damphousse) and children: Rheal (Vivianne) - Julie, Rejean, Marcel, Josée; Irene Dupuis (Paul) - Marc, Andrée, Sylvain, Karine; Emile; Marc (Jeanne) - Paul, Roxanne, Janelle; Louis (Sharon) - Miguel, Daphne; and Agnès.
He will be reunited with his son Yves whom was not given the pleasure of knowing how his dad was truly a funny and inspirational man. Ambroise was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters and in-laws. He is survived by in-laws, Frances Vermette (Gerard), Father Georges Damphousse, Celine Dansereau (Cecil), Fernande Damphousse.
A private family service was held Friday, April 16, 2021 in St-Joseph.
The family wishes to thank the Villa Youville staff and Home Care staff for their support and care over the last four years. Thank you to Dr. Francine Paquin, Dr. Steven Gravelle and hospital staff at the Ste-Anne Hospital. Thank you to relatives and friends who have shared their kind words, their lasting memories of Ambroise, and their heartfelt sympathy.
In Ambroise's memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

AMBROISE REMILLARD

C'est avec grande tristesse que nous devons vous annoncer le décès de notre cher Papa et Grand-Papa. Ambroise Rémillard s'est endormi paisiblement le 9 avril, 2021 à l'hôpital de Ste-Anne.
Fils de Narcisse et Victoria Rémillard, Ambroise est né le dernier d'une famille de 10 enfants à Saint Joseph, Manitoba. Son beau-frère, Wilfrid Jubinville lui a présenté sa nièce Thérèse (née Damphousse) son épouse bien-aimée de 66 années. Ils se sont mariés le 23 juillet, 1955. Des nouvelles relations les ont accueillies à la Villa Youville à Ste Anne depuis les 4 dernières années.
Leur foyer à St-Joseph fût béni de sept enfants.
Ses 6 enfants et 13 petits-enfants le garderont dans leurs coeurs pour toujours... Rhéal (Vivianne Brais) - Julie, Réjean, Marcel, Josée Irène (Paul Dupuis) - Marc, Andrée, Sylvain, Karine Émile Marc (Jeanne Alarie) - Paul, Roxanne, Janelle Louis (Sharon Bingham) - Miguel, Daphné Agnès
Ambroise retrouvera son fils Yves qui n'a malheureusement pas eu le bonheur de côtoyer cet homme merveilleux et drôle. Il fût pré-décédé par ses parents Narcisse et Victoria (Sarasin), ses frères et soeurs, ainsi que beau-frères et belle-soeurs.
Il laisse aussi dans le deuil les membres de sa belle-famille Frances Damphousse (Gérard Vermette), l'abbé Georges Damphousse, Céline Damphousse (Cecil Dansereau), et Fernande (Paul Damphousse).
Le service a eu lieu vendredi, le 16 avril, 2021 à l'Église de Saint Joseph. L'officiant l'abbé Patrice Kasonga fût assisté par l'abbé Georges Damphousse.
La famille désire remercier le personnel de la Villa Youville ainsi que les Soins à Domicile pour leur support pour les 4 dernières années. Un merci particulier aux Dr Francine Paquin et Dr Steven Gravelle et le personnel infirmier de l'hôpital de Ste-Anne. Merci sincères également à la parenté et aux amis/es qui ont partagés leurs messages de sympathies et doux souvenirs d'Ambroise avec nous.
Vos témoignages de sympathie à la mémoire d'Ambroise peuvent également se traduire par un don à la « Heart and Stroke Foundation », ou à JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

Ambroise was born in Saint-Joseph, Manitoba the youngest of 10 children to Narcisse and Victoria Remillard. He was introduced to his loving wife of 66 years Thérèse (née Damphousse) by his to be brother-in-law Wilfrid Jubinville. They were married in July of 1955 and were fortunate to call St-Joseph home for 62 years eventually spending the last 4 years making new acquaintances at Youville in Ste-Anne.
A private family service was held Friday, April 16th, 2021 in St-Joseph. A video of the service will be posted at a later date.

Je chérirai toujours de beaux souvenirs d'Oncle Ambroise et des moments passés en famille. Quel bel être humain et merveilleux mari et père. Je me souviendrai du sourire d'Oncle Ambroise, de sa personnalité chaleureuse et de sa gentillesse. Mes sincères sympathies à toute la famille! I will cherish memories of Oncle Ambroise and times enjoyed with family. What a lovely human being and wonderful husband and father.
