JACK (JOHN) EDWARD PETERS
1948 - 2021
Jack was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Son of the late Violet Jessie and Elmer Ruben Peters.
Jack attended Sisler High School and studied Sheet Metal Working at Red River College where he graduated in 1968. Throughout his career he went on to master the trade. He enjoyed many hobbies including woodworking, gardening, and country dancing. He also kept fish as pets most of his life. But most of all Jack loved working on his 66' Pontiac GTO.
Our hearts are heavy and he will be sadly missed by son, Mike (Connie) and daughter Shari (Curtis Lester); grandchildren from Mike and Connie, Nya 17, Berlin 15, Ivy 12; grandchildren from Shari and Curtis, Lilly 18, Julian 14; step-grandchild from Jason and Jessica Miller, Brooklyn (Boo Boo), six.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Ron and Linda Maurer, Ed Toews, and Chapel Lawn for care and compassion during this difficult time.
We love and adore you Dad and will carry all
your life lessons with us on this journey.
Chase the sunset burning up the pavement
in your lil' GTO into Valhalla, Papa.
"Life ain't nothin' but a funny, funny riddle.
Thank God I'm a country boy."

Our heartfelt condolences to Jack’s Family. So shocked to hear of Jack’s passing. We met Jack through dancing and he was an awesome dancer. Sure going to miss Jack’s visits at The Spike. Rest In Peace my friend ❤️ Bruce & Val Andrews - Posted by: Valerie Andrews (Friend) on: Apr 19, 2021
Sorry to hear about Jack’s passing. His dad and my mom were brother and sister. I remember visits to our farm as a kid with his family. Last time I saw him was a couple summers ago for a memorial in Elkhorn for our uncle Bob Peters. Heartfelt Condolences to his children and grandchildren. - Posted by: Melvin Clubb (First cousin) on: Apr 18, 2021
I knew Jack when we were young guys in our late teens early 20s just starting out. Lots of fun times and competing with cars. Lost track of each other after I moved west . Good friend back in the day and I will remember him like that. - Posted by: Steve Warnar (Old Friend ) on: Apr 17, 2021
