Condolences & Memories (4 entries)
I’m very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom and dad. They were very kind people. - Posted by: Brigitte Meier (Former friend of Gerry Fiks) on: Apr 24, 2021
Deana and Eric have been great friends to Wayne and myself over the years. We did a lot together from McDermot Avenue Baptist Church social events, bowling and many trips. Deana and Eric were always willing to offer in helping anyway possible. When Wayne and I moved to British Columbia in 2004, they offered to help us with garage sales and packing. They said that they would help us until the job was done. So with them living in St. James, Winnipeg and us 10 miles north of Winnipeg, they came and just stayed at our place to get the job done. I didn't know where Deana got all her energy from as she was a go getter. I referred her to the Eveready Battery advertisement of never running out of energy. They were both so giving of their time and expertise. It is now that my husband, Wayne has passed away 10 years, but I will cherish the times that I had with Deana and Eric and miss them a lot.
