(ALLAN) DWIGHT CLEGHORN
July 2, 1956 - April 18, 2021
Dwight is survived by parents, Don and Berna Cleghorn of Winnipeg; sister Arla (William); nephew Dion, of California, and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his younger brother Blake.
From an early age Dwight had a passion for all sports, particularly hockey, curling and baseball. During school he participated in multiple teams and curled with the Charleswood Curling Club. Dwight continued to play baseball as a young adult, as well as golf, which became a lifelong pastime for him. Throughout the years, Dwight and his dad shared many happy hours together watching sports on TV. Always an excellent student, Dwight graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science degree, followed by a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree. For many years he enjoyed success as a Stockbroker and Financial Advisor. As a university student, Dwight travelled the world, backpacking on a shoestring budget. Thailand became a favourite destination in later years.
We would like to thank the Grace Hospital staff on 3 South, and Dr. Janower for her thoughtful communication with our family. Many thanks to Barry, Betty and Sue, for all their help and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Dwight when the Pandemic is behind us.

To my friend and colleague, "Foggers" So truly sorry and saddened to hear or your untimely passing, my friend. I will always remember the times during our articles at AA&CO in the early 80s, and the fun times we had at your place in Charleswood....watching Super Bowls, hockey games, and whatever other sports we enjoyed. Your clever wit and dry sense of humor were always welcomed...you will be sorely missed. I lost track of you when I moved to Vancouver in the early 90s, but had a nice short visit with you at a Jets/Blackhawks tilt in the Peg about 6 years ago....it was such a pleasure to catch up with you. Be well, my friend, and rest in peace. Emil "Manch" Manchulenko - Posted by: Emil Manchulenko (Work Colleague (Arthur Andersen & Co) and friend) on: Apr 24, 2021
