Condolences & Memories (6 entries)
Sincere condolences to Beverly and Carol and all family and friends. Too many fun memories to share but here are a few. Myron was just a bit older than my older brother and he was often at his cousin, Laurie's Helgason's mechanic shop working on or celebrating some mechanical marvel, like the Studillac Laurie built for someone. Cousin Beverly and my sister, Gwenda and I were similar ages and shared happy family memories at their hospitable family farm home. As a teenager, I enjoyed playing guitar and greatly admired the music in their home. Myron was a skilled guitar player and there was lots of singing. One day Myron took the time to show me some beautiful and amazing guitar finger-playing guitar riffs, which he explained he picked up from watching Lenny Breau in performance. Not to be forgotten, Myron. Some years and many miles later, I was heartened to hear from quite a few family members that Myron had found a wonderful relationship with Jesus, as had I. Very precious indeed! We pray that each of his friends and family will find comfort in your special memories with Myron and with each other. Blessings, Dwight Moore - Posted by: Dwight Moore (Helgason cousin) on: Apr 30, 2021
My deepest condolences to Carol, Haldor & family on the passing of your beloved brother, I remember Myron as an outgoing individual who loved his motorcycle, guitars & music; also being a very skilled carpenter. Great memories of Myron, Dave & Haldor all jamming on the guitars, playing the great music we grew up on! Now that Myron has reunited with Dave in Heaven, the music will be rocking again. - Posted by: Rosa Johnston (Friend) on: Apr 26, 2021
We were surprised and saddened by Myron passing. We got to know Myron very well when he used his extraordinary carpenter skills to make our beautiful Kitchen and bathroom cabinets spending many months at our home. He was a perfectionist carpenter and very witty. We will miss him. Blessings and peace to you Myron - Posted by: Lawrence and Carole Johannson (Friends) on: Apr 24, 2021

I have known Myron all my life and I am sad that he has passed away! - Posted by: Glenn Greenberg (Childhood friend) on: Apr 24, 2021
So sorry to hear of Myron's passing. I became friends with Myron while I was working at the Harley shop back in the 80s (even did a paint job on one of his bikes for him). He did a lot of great cabinet work for me at my place and his quality of work is still appreciated. It's hard not to think of Myron every time we open a cabinet door around here.. It was always a pleasure to bump into Myron now and then at the Harley shop or rally and the conversations were always fun and friendly. My heartfelt condolences to all his friends and family. He'll be missed. - Posted by: John Prest (Friend) on: Apr 24, 2021
