IRENE DZINKOWSKI
October 1923 - April 2021
She was born in Tilsit, East Prussia and after the Second World War immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada where she met her husband Karl Edward Dzinkowski. Before working alongside with him as an administrator in his legal practice, Irene was a teacher, a job she loved. Irene was well known for her very distinct personality, her strength, kindness, and of course her delicious cooking. She loved entertaining and enjoying holiday meals with her family. Irene was also a great lover of animals and had many pets over the years that she spoiled terribly. It's hard to describe someone with so much personality in a few words. Suffice it to say, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be dearly missed. Thank you Mom...for everything.
Irene is survived by her daughter Ramona Dzinkowski, son-in-law Kevin Henry George Brown, her brother Gunter Mirwaldt, sister Lore Mirwaldt, and many nieces and nephews in Canada and the US. She was predeceased by Karl Edward Dzinkowski (spouse), Gerda Wendorff (sister), Zieg Mirwaldt (brother), Kuno Mirwaldt (brother), Emma Mirwaldt (mother), and Ernst Mirwaldt (father).
Memorial services and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date due to COVID restrictions in Ontario.

Condolences on the passing of your Mom. Always enjoyed the great debates we had about the days of the times. Although my Mom thought we were arguing. She was a great neighbor and a good friend to our family. - Posted by: George (Young) on: Apr 28, 2021
