Hi honey. Well, three years have come and gone since that awful day when you left us all here on earth. Time keeps moving forward, not caring about what is or what was. Those dreams of ours are gone and in their place are the memories of what our future would have been. It is the feeling of loss, the desperate pleas to save you, the frustration and utter defeat when nothing could be done, that stays with me. Time does not heal those feelings, those thoughts, that pain. It never can and it never will. But somehow, out of all the
despair, I can still find some comfort.
Memories, photographs (which you always hated), gifts, your signature on an old cheque, your voice recording, your truck pillow. Strange how things I took for granted now give me peace. You ARE my rock, and you
always will be. I miss you so very much.
