LORRAINE CLOWES
She will be forever missed by her children, Carmen (Leslie), Chris (Lynn) and Kevin, grandkids, Jen, Erica, Hayden and Blair, nieces, Kim (George), Gwen (Dave), Elaine and their families, and many dear friends.
Our mom was one of those special people you were fortunate to have in your corner. Her selflessness and generosity were unwavering no matter what health issues tried to limit her. Her love for family, friends (and Elvis!) was limitless.
Whether cheering her boys or grandkids at hockey or baseball until her voice was gone, or bundling up to watch the Blue Bombers in the Grey Cup, Mom was always all in. Mom was the backbone of our family. She was our mentor, sounding board, seamstress, doctor, chef, nurse and interior painter. She would always make time to help out in any way she could.
Some of our fondest memories of Mom were the legendary breakfasts she would cook up for us and our friends after a night out.
We will miss the Sunday dinners at Mom's that were full of good food and lots of laughter. The best part of those dinners were the memories she shared of her life growing up in Peguis, spending hours playing with her sister Marie, dancing a jig with her beloved dad Maurice before school or picking berries with her mom Grace.
We are comforted to know that she is reunited with her family who have gone before her. Rest in peace Mom.
Lots of love.
