ROSE NOWAKOWSKI
(YEWCHYN)
February 5, 1924 - May 1, 2021

Rose passed away peacefully at the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home at the age of 97 years. Rose was born in Cooks Creek, MB, lived in Winnipeg, MB, where she worked in a sewing factory for many years. Rose and her husband John eventually settled on the farm in Fisher Branch, where they spent 67 married years together.
Rose is survived by her daughter Mary Ponchon, daughter-in-law Doreen Nowakowski; her grandchildren, Kathy (John) Bernier, Peggy (David) Dmyterko, Jennifer (Jamey) Hyslop, Kristina (Andrew) I'Anson and Yvonne Ponchon (Jason Blanco); great-grandchildren, Melanie, Stacey, April, Megan, Adam, Brittany, Jordan, Riley, Hailey, Brady, Emmy, Wyatt and Carson; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Rose was predeceased by her parents, her husband John Nowakowski, and her son Edward Nowakowski.
The family would like to extend their deep-felt gratitude to the staff at Percy E. Moore Hospital as well as the staff at the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home.
A private family service will take place.
