SOO KUN YEE
Born on April 5, 1937 in Toisan, China, he immigrated to Winnipeg in 1958, before marrying Karen Yung.
He is survived by his children, Jimmie (Angela), Stanley, Vivian (Michael Crockatt), and his grandchildren, Kristin (Cameron Papineau), Megan (Gunjot Saluja), Taylor and Jacob.
His dream was to run his own restaurant which became a reality in 1987. He was the proud owner and head chef at the Panda Restaurant in Charleswood. After selling the restaurant, he spent his retirement years in British Columbia. He accepted Christ into his life in 2017.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. PST. Webcast information and condolences available through the Forest Lawn Funeral Home website. 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby BC.
