HAMILTON: Harold Clare Dwayne Hamilton. Passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday May 6, 2021 at the age of 78 years, Harold Clare Dwayne Hamilton, of Glenboro, MB. Dwayne leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Lorna (nee McGill), son Kent and wife Sandra of Glenboro, MB, sister Janice Stephens of Hamilton, Bermuda, sisters-in-law Eleanor Hamilton of Glenboro, MB and Glen Hamilton of Stouffville, ON, brothers and sisters-in-law Doug Jobbins of Victoria, BC, Kevin and Linda McGill of Killarney, MB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers Mervyn, Jack and Rae Hamilton, sisters Joyce (Bob) Johnson, Isabel (Bruce) Fairgireve and Betty Jobbins and by his brothers-in-law Richard Stephens and Gordon McGill. Dwayne served as councilor in the R.M. of Argyle, was a Manitoba Pool Elevators delegate for 17 years, a member of the executive and Vice President of Keystone Agricultural Producers, as a board member of Manitoba Habitat Heritage and served as an agricultural representative on the Committee for Sustainable Development Implementation. A Family Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Glenboro Cemetery with Sharon Hamilton officiating. In lieu of cards and flowers, friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Dwayne's memory to the Glenboro Cat Rescue, c/o R.M. of Glenboro-South Cypress, Box 190, Glenboro, MB, or to the Glenboro & Area Foundation, Youth & Recreation Fund, Box 147, Glenboro, MB R0K 0X0.
