I found out from another old friend of ours of her passing. She was my best friend for many years as her sister Laura was my sister's best bud, we had such fun times and always a laugh with her. She had a big heart, so kind and just had the best smile!!! I have so many great stories to tell..lol.. Last we had contact was her birth of her first son when I came to visit her on my holidays back home (living in AB then). Was only a couple years ago I saw her and her hubby & son at my work (Grant Park Canadian tire) I knew was her with those freckles and that big smile! I'm sad of her loss and so very sorry to her parents & family. I loved her like another sister. Peace my dear old friend.. You will be missed! We were so sorry to hear about Debbie’s passing and that we had not been in touch the past few years! We met Debbie, Clinton, Justin and Brandon thru our very close friends Wayne and Liz spending time with them over the years at Betula Lake where Wayne and Liz opened their home to us. We have so very many fond memories of our time with them and our circle of friends we made there! Debbie truly did have an infectious laugh and could light up the room! She had a big heart and her family and friends felt her 💗 love always! Our hearts go out to Clinton, Justin, Angel, Brandon and her grandchildren during this very sad and difficult time! I hope you know that we’re here if you need us! Love Leona, Joe, Sarah, Andrew and Nicole - Posted by: Leona & Joe Rodrigues & Family (Friends ) on: May 14, 2021

What can I say about my friend Debbie. Debbie was an angel. She brought lots of joy to people's lives when you became her friend you knew that you were friends for life. Debbie had this beautiful smile that would light up a room. Her eyes were like diamonds. They sparkled when she laughed. And when Debbie laughed the whole room would laugh with her. You could not help yourself but laugh with her. Her words of wisdom came deep down from inside her heart to help people in need to help them through the rough times and to get stronger. Debbie’s long reddish brown hair is what made Debbie the fierce spirited woman she was. She ever so loved her long hair and when she let it down you would see why. Many times I needed some mentoring some wise words and Debbie was always there to pull me out of a deep hole but I was in to make me shine and be a better person. Debbie and I met working together at the East district police station and she had made a lot of friends. She was such a joy to be around and you wanted to be around her because she had such a glow around her of love and understanding. Debbie I will miss you. But I know your spirit lives on. You are up there looking down on me and your family and friends giving us guidance and a warm hug when we are down. Rest in peace my friend until the day we see each other again then we can sit down and laugh smile and talk about the good all times together. Love you Debbie until I see you again. Love Sharon My condolences goes out to the family, friends and coworkers who Debbie touched with love and kindness. - Posted by: Sharon Mc_Allister (Co Worker) on: May 13, 2021

Debbie always had a smile on her face. She was a kind soul and an all around beautiful person inside and out. God has gained a treasure and we shall miss her. We didn't see her often but when we did we had quality time together. Our thoughts and prayers go out for her entire family and friends. Rest in peace.
