Condolences & Memories (1 entries)
Life has come full circle. I formerly met Mr. Winston Mighty at the funeral service of his Mother at the SDA Church in Spanish Town. We were neighbors here in Jamaica, but we had never really got the opportunity to speak. However, when we (my mom and I) heard that his mother had passed, we knew we had to be present at the service. He came over to where my mother and I were sitting near the back of the church and shook my hand and gave me such a wonderful smile. That is how much of a gentleman he was. After this, he and I became good friends/neighbors. I would ask about his life in Canada, the food, the work he used to do, his medical issues, his family and so on... He had really great work ethics... rising early in the morning to go to work even in extremely cold weather conditions and never complaining... He was also so kind to bring us gifts whenever he is back in Jamaica... May his soul RIP and may the family find peace and comfort in JESUS at this time.... Mr. Mighty was much loved, and will be missed.... GOD BLESS YOU ALL!! - Posted by: AUDREY SOON (Neighbor in Jamaica) on: May 18, 2021
