ROBERT E. KAY
February 1, 1951 - May 6, 2021

On May 6, 2021, our hearts were broken by the passing of Robert (Dad) after a short battle with cancer.
Robert leaves to hold in memory his wife Judy Lynn, his shadow Kasie-Loo, his son Tyson (Cathy), grandchildren, Anthony, Liam, Julie, his daughter Teena (Timothy), granddaughter Kristina; his brothers, Alex and David, his brothers-in-law, Jamie McQuarrie (Cheryl), Brett Munro, and his mother-in-law Dorine Murash.
Robert was blessed with many friends - each one was very special to him. He was a very warm and generous individual who always believed the shortest way was the best way. This part of his character provided all with many opportunities for a good laugh.
The family would like to thank the very caring staff at Riverview Health Centre (RHC) 3 East. Once in the caring arms of the RHC Palliative team our journey, although heart breaking, eased.
To all our friends who called me to check on me and Robert, thank you. I want to say a special thank you to Jamie and Cheryl who never said no, no matter how much I leaned on them. Brett, your guidance through the last four months kept my mind open so I could prepare for the next challenge. Lynn Van Heldon, the daily calls and texts allowed me to bare my heart knowing no matter what I said you would call the next day, Lastly to our two children, Tyson and Teena, we could not be prouder.
There will be no service, honour Robert's memory by loving the people in your lives.
