It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fred Jeninga. The Lord took Fred to his heavenly home on Sunday, May 9, 2021 after a short, courageous battle with cancer with his loving wife Claire at his side.
He is survived by his faithful and loving wife Claire, who tended to his every need over the last six months. In addition, he leaves behind his loving mother Frances. Also remaining are his brothers, Ted (Yvonne), Andy (Laurel) and Ron (Tammy); as well as sisters-in-law, Netty (Sam) Zwiers, Sylvia (John) Buikema, Yvonne (John) Zwiers and Irene (Roger) Vaags; and many nieces and nephews.
Fred was predeceased by his twin sister Greetje (1961) and his father John (2017).

Condolences & Memories (16 entries)

  • Claire, Words cannot express how very sorry I am, and cannot imagine what you are going through. Fred was such a great guy!!! He was so full of life and happiness and I really enjoyed his company. We had several great times at work and most of all fishing. You know that he didn't have to always catch the biggest fish to have a great time. I am grateful for the memories…just not enough of them. I wish you peace and hope.
