ANASTACIA BERNARDINO POLINTAN
Tacing was born in 1933 in Manila and lived a happy childhood life with her cousins. With intelligence, deep faith, and a strong sense of purpose, she rose above adversity and embraced life's adventures. Her first job was working in Pitoy Moreno's salon making gowns for a former First lady of the Philippines. She migrated to Canada and chose to become a sample maker/designer here in Winnipeg. She married late to the love of her life, Norman. They devoted a big part of their lives serving the Lord. They were a member of Knights of Columbus, St. Edward Council, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She is survived by her cousins, Delfina, Ramon and Cynthia in San Francisco, niece Elizabeth (Boy, Joseph), Jessica (Joan), Gigi (Joey, Charlita, John Claire) in Winnipeg.
Our sincerest thanks to those who visited Tita Tacing, to the nurses and health care provider that took care of her, and to all the fellow residents who became her friends. THANK YOU ALL!
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Virtual Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at St. Edward Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines.
