BESSETTE: Dwight Bessette passed away on May 15, 2021. Dwight was born September 28, 1957 in Kipling, SK, the second son of Adrien and Aline (nee Godard) Bessette. Dwight spent his growing years on a farm in the Dumas, SK area, graduating grade 12 in Kennedy, SK. After highschool, at age 17, he started to learn the trade of carpentry, working in Wawota, SK, Pincher Creek, AB and later in Brandon, MB. He and his carpenter partner Mark started their own business D&M Construction in Brandon, later moving to Grande Prairie, AB. Dwight married Tracey (nee Collister) in 1989 and from that union their two sons were born, Sean and Tyler, who were Dwight's #1 priority in life. He loved them dearly and was so proud of them. He later met his life partner, Helen Randall, in Grande Prairie and further happy memories were born from their blended families. Dwight was predeceased by his parents, his infant brother, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Sean, daughter-in-law Kayla, and grandson Brock; son Ty and his fiancé Samantha; Helen, her son Gavin (Amanda) and children Logan and Peyton; Blair, her children Hans and Meadow; sister Gisele Roziere (Rob); brother Kelly Bessette (Deb), nephew Justin, niece Taylor (Adam Donnelly) and great-niece Maeven; Helen's mom and siblings, his beloved fur baby, Tigg and his countless friends.
