BRUCE DOUGLASS LUKE
December 5, 1937 May 19, 2021
His journey came to an end peacefully with his family by his side.
He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, with whom he continued to speak daily. He is survived by his three sons / daughters-in-law, Kirk, Randy and Sandy, Darren and Joanne. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Kyle and Mikayla.
Bruce was a kindhearted man who took great pleasure in helping others. He was a collector of sorts, he liked garage sales and taught us all the art of the deal.
Special mention to Bruce's coffee buddies. A group of gentlemen that formed a distinct part of his intimate group of mates.
He will be missed and thought of often by all those who knew him.
The family would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba and the caring, wonderful staff at Riverview Health Centre - 3 East. Our Dad and his family praise them all for their devotion and compassionate bedside manner.
Dad was placed alongside his wife at a private family ceremony. Anyone wishing to pay their respects can do so at his final resting place located at the Infinity Niche at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba, his chosen charity.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your father Kirk and family. It was my great pleasure to have worked with Bruce and been friends with your both your Dad and Mom in the Saskatoon days. Unfortunately we get busy in life with time and distance separates us. I shall always remember their great love of entertaining, dancing, and socializing with friends. Each of your parents brightened everyone’s day, but together they were brilliant! - Posted by: Gordon Rybuck (CN colleague) on: May 23, 2021
