ANNE SKOTNICKI
June 30, 1924 - May 4, 2021
Anne, along with Stan, made their home on Manitoba Avenue where they could always be found in their garden. Anne was an avid bowler and participated in many tournaments. She had a long and successful career working in the Post Office at The Bay Downtown. During her latter years Anne cared for Stan during his time at Fred Douglas Lodge. After his passing Anne moved into the senior apartments at the Lodge and remained there until her health took a turn, at which time Anne moved to the Oak Unit to receive more care.
A big thank you to all Anne's nurse's and caregivers during her stay at Fred Douglas. Donations, if so desired, can be made to Fred Douglas Lodge on Burrows, Anne and Stan's final home.

We knew Stan and Anne for many years. I worked with with Stan for many years. Anne and Stan were a perfect happily married couple. Stan adored Anne and it was obvious to anyone who knew them. Stan and Anne grew the most beautiful tomatoes. They loved their home and each other. Gardening was a passion to Anne and Stan. We still have an antique buffet and hutch that his father built in the early 1900's that they gave to us, so we think of them often. Stan kept her safe for a long time and now they are finally together with their beloved daughter. - Posted by: grant and marianne humphreys (friend) on: May 22, 2021
