CHARLOTTE EVELYN OLSON
April 25, 1931 May 7, 2021
Charlotte is survived by her sister Dorothea and her four children: Barry (Sonya), Kim (Matt), Edwin (Deborah), and Dwayne (Jeanette) as well as her ten grandchildren: Erik, Olivia, Georgia Mae, Ella and Tyler, Annika, Lauren and Charli, Austin and Cheyenne. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Gordon, her brother Donny and her parents, Arthur and Helena.
Charlotte was raised in the tiny hamlet of Harrowby, Manitoba where her parents owned the General store. After high school, she worked at the hospital in Russell, Manitoba before moving to Winnipeg where she found work as a bank teller at the TD Bank. It was during this time when she met her husband Gordon. Charlotte and Gordon were married in 1961 and together they raised a family, established Fort Garry Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and were active members of their community.
Charlotte loved people. She was upbeat, welcoming and she always made time for a chat or a cup a tea. Her home was her happy place. The Fort Garry bungalow buzzed with activity and was host to many gatherings with family and friends. Charlotte was patient, kind, and generous to a fault. She always put the interests of those around her ahead of herself. Quite simply, Mom was the glue that held it all together.
Charlotte's family kindly requests that her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by watching her photo biography at www.ethicaldeathcare.com

I was a next door neighbour in the sixties. Charlotte was always beautiful- inside and out! She loved her kids and was a great neighbour. - Posted by: Jocelyn Greenwood (Neighbour ) on: May 22, 2021
