Will be deeply missed by beloved wife, Clarice; daughter Shirley (Leo), grandsons, Collin and Brendan, daughter Theresa (Todd), granddaughter Chelsea; sisters-in-law, Marilyn (John) and Joan and extended family in Ireland and across Canada.
Predeceased by his parents, Helen and Thomas.
Thomas worked as an accountant for Air Canada Finance for over 30 years. He was a loyal Winnipeg Blue Bomber and Winnipeg Jets fan. He met his wife at the curling club and they enjoyed many games together. They did some five pin bowling, enjoyed many summers at Ponemah Beach, which included some sailing. He did some travelling to Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Australia, Black Hills, Niagara Falls, Victoria, Vancouver, Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper. Always tended to plants – begonias and geraniums were his favourite. He also enjoyed viewing flower gardens and castles.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Epilepsy and Seizure Association of Manitoba, 4-1805 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB R2V 2A2 or to a charity of your choice.
A private family service will be held due to Covid-19.

  • Tom was one of my best friends as a child and adolescent. We were ushers at each other's weddings. We curled together and went to Bombers games together, including to Regina on Labor Day. He was a great friend. I am glad to have had the chance to re-connect a few times later in life. I am saddened to see this news.
