KENNETH DRYSDALE BARNES
January 21, 1956 - May 16, 2021

After an extraordinary long and courageous battle with renal cancer and Addison's, Ken passed away alone.

You were one of a kind
and I was so proud to be your wife.
Although I cannot see or touch you,

  • Hi Bev, I’m not sure if you remember me but I went to High School with Ken and would run into you and him at different socials etc. after you met him. I was so very sad to hear of his passing and how he had to suffer. Life can be so unfair at times. My thoughts and prayers are with you. • I was so sad to hear of this magnificent man's passing. Although we hadn’t kept in touch, I will always think of Ken and Bev as amazing people who I was blessed to have in my life. Ken was such a kind hearted, loving man. He always had a soft spot for my two boys. He always greeted them with a huge hug and accompanied them on many adventures, even if it was just into the back yard. They always asked when they were going to see Grandpa Ken again knowing that like any true grandpa, the answer to any question was always “yes”. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bev, you are in my thoughts. Much love to you. - Posted by: Amber Bonneteau (Friend/neighbour) on: May 25, 2021
