Condolences & Memories (7 entries)
I have just read of Lorne’s passing. I can’t begin to express my condolences to his family. I met Lorne and his son when I joined the MR Car club that he ran. I can still see his smile as he operated the computer during the races. And fondly remember many interactions with him and his son. I was flattered when Lorne gave me the nickname, “The Teacher.” I was so honoured when he invited me to his big Wedding Anniversary. Sadly I lost touch with Lorne as my work took me further from Winnipeg. But, the span of many years doesn’t lessen the loss I feel. Lorne was a fine man, a devoted caring father, and good friend. Carole, so sorry to hear of Lorne's passing. I remember when he used to pick you up from A&W when we both worked there back in the day in his souped up 37 Ford. What a slick ride! I read the obit and see he was an incredibly talented and accomplished person. My condolences for your loss. - Posted by: Terri Krasnowski (Old Co-Worker of Carole) on: May 31, 2021
Our condolences again to Carol and the entire family. The love of a brother is like no other... We are missing our nightly phone calls to talk about hockey, etc. May everyone who knew him feel comfort in keeping his memories close to their hearts.
